Description:
The Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant at the Vung Ang Electricity Center is being built under an Engineering - Procurement - Construction (EPC) contract.
It was signed between the project's investor, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and The Vietnam Machinery Erection Corp known as LILAMA as the EPC Contractor.
Vung Ang 1, the first thermal power plant in north central Vietnam, will house two turbine groups with a combined capacity of 1.200 megawatts.
Once the plant is fuly operational in the first quarter of 2013, it will produce 7.2 billion kilowatt hours each year.

Scope of work:
- Providing loading and unloading services, transportation, maintenance equipment and steel structure.
- Installation of mechanical - electrical equipment for turbine, generator system.
